6 months later...

Ok so i really need to start updating this a lot more often. It's been foreveeerrr since i have. I've just been so busy with work and everything i completely forgot about this. Quick update: I'm working at Nordstrom now. It's awesome, everyone i work with is super fun and chill. Me and Matt are also in the process of moving into a new better and bigger apartment! We're so excited, it's a few blocks from our old place but out of the cracky tenderloin area. We might get a kitty too! Once we get all settled in i'll post some pictures. As for Erimm, she's doing great. She had a beautful baby boy named Dylan! He's so adorable! I'm so happy for her and Kyle.

Halloween!
Matt was King from Gorgoroth, i was a zombie, and Ashleigh was a princess.

Adventures

Today Matthew took me on an adventure around the city. It was about a 4 mile walk. It was tiring but very fun and beautiful, minus the wind ha. We walked from downtown to the presidio area. Around china town, russian hill, ggnra yacht harbo and saw alcatraz, an old military hispital, and he also took me to the Palace of fine arts which was gorgeous! Its surrounded by a lagoon full of pretty ducks, swans, and turtles. We only saw one turtle though, because they hangout at the way bottom. It was a perfect day! I love the adventures we go on.

Tokyo Zombie

Popcorn and a movie with Matthew!

My 70s air popcorn popper and a awesome movie with Matthew. Tokyo Zombie, directed by Sakichi Sato, this Japanese zombie- movie satire is based on the manga by Yusaku Hanakuma. This movie is super funny! Me and Matt loved it. These two guys Fujio (Tadanobu Asano) and Mitsuo (Sho Aikawa) who work in a fire extinguisher factory train between lunch breaks to fulfill their dreams of becoming jujitsu champions. But suddenly zombies invade Tokyo and they have to use there jujitsu skills to fight them off. Fast forward five years, the surviving people built a new city for everyone to live. Leaving the zombie dead outside. The only thing is the rich women run the city and leave the poor to become there slaves. But all Fujio and Mitsuo want to do is go to Russia and become great fighters. Tadanobu Asano and Sho Aikawa are great fun togetherm with emotional and hilarious scenes.

Comedy Night

Christopher Titus: love is evol was so much fun and funny. That guy has been through a lot and i'm so happy everything is finally working out for him and that he's happy. The show was about his life, love, and him going through a vicious divorce. His ex wife is a BITCH by the way. It was hilarious. Matts dad was the one who bought us the tickets to the comedy show. I'm very thankful, his parents are so sweet. Me and Matty had a great time.

yay june!

Yay, im so excited! I just bought my plain ticket to go back to Olympia Wa. with Matthew for his older brothers wedding. The wedding is June 13th, It's going to be so fun and beautiful! We're leaving June 8th and coming back the 18th. So the weather should be great! I love visiting Oly, it's so beautiful there and Mattys family is so sweet. I can't wait for June!

Stacy

2001's Stacy, directed by Naoyuki Tomomatsu. The films about teenage school girls from the ages of 15-17 who start turning into zombies, or stacys as they call them. Full of cheesy gore and dark humor. It isn't the greates zombie movie, but it is fun yet short. And i do admit it does have a good plot, i just think thye could have went with it a little better. I think It has a day of the dead feel to it. My favorit parts of the movie are the "Romero Task Force", named after George A. Romero. Famous for his zombie films like Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead. There is even an Evil Dead reference with the "Blues Campbell's Right Hand 2 Chainsaw" that is super funny. Parts of the movie are a little drawn out but if you like zombie movies you should definitely see it. Low budget but very funny.

Les Diaboliqes

This 1955 French noir thriller is one of the first films with a dramatic plot twist. This film is a jaw dropper. Based on the novel Celle Qui N'etait Pas and directed by Henri- Georges Clouzot. I really don't want to say much at all about this film because i dont want to ruin the plot or the dramatic twist at the end. I just suggest you see the trailer and watch the movie for your self.

Food of the Gods...for a taste of Hell

This movie is hilarious. I loved it! Its based on the novel by H.G. Wells "Food of the Gods". This 1976 classic is about a group of guys who arrive at a remote Canadian island to go hunting and bro out. When they get there they soon discover that the island is inhabited by huge insects and rats. Who are hungry for human flesh. What they later find out is that thisunidentifiable ooze is what's making these animals so huge. The people who live on the island think the ooze is a gift from god and think they'll get rich from it. In reality it's mother natures revenge for all the pollution we cause. What's awesome about this movie is that they used mocel houses and real rats to make it seem like they're giant. Also, they have giant puppets of the animals that are super funny. The only thing i hate about this movie is the fact that they shoot the rats with red paint balls to make it seem like they got shot by and gun and are bleeding. Yes, rat are rodents and i hate them. But i hate seeing animals get hurt and the in movie you see the rats reaction to getting shot and its not good. I mean come on paint balls hurt! Also, at the end of the movie they show rats actually drowning, and its so sad. PETA must hate this movie, but you should definitely see it.

Oly

So this past weekend me and Matthew vistited his family in Olympia Washington. I love it there! It's so beautiful and everyone there is so nice. The first day we got there, Matts parents picked us up at the air port and we went to one of his older brother house and hung out before dinner. The restaurant we had dinner at was called Assaggios. Assaggio is a beautiful Italian restaurant with Michelangelo inspired art on its walls. For dinner i had Linguine Anconetano and for dessert i had a yummy lemon sorbet. Everything else on the dessert list i was allergic to, but the sorbet was delightful. It was all delicious. After dinner me and Matt went for a walk around the Space Needle and the Experience Music Project/ Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame. The EMP/SFM museum building is amazing. It really is a work of art. I can't wait for this summer so we can actually go inside.

The real reason we went to Washington was for Matts older brother Bens bachelor party. Matts brothers bachelor party was scheduled on the same day as our one year annicersary. His parents felt bad that we wouldnt get to spend it together so they decided to get me an early birthday present by buying me a plain ticket to Oly. That way we could spend the remaining of the time together. His parents are the best! Even though i didn't get to spend the whole time with Matty, i had a great time hanging out with his mom and dad. They are the sweetest people you could ever meet. Me and matts mom Shelly had a fun cute day. She took me to this bead store called Shipwreck Beads. It's HUGE! I couldn't believe it, i was in love. I've never seen so many beads in one place. When we were done shopping we headed back to there home (which is very beautiful) to have dinner and watched Pearl Harbor. After the movie Shelly and i made cards. It was so much fun and they came out so cute. Matts mom and grandmothers are really into making handmade greeting cards. The whole night thought i was getting drunk calls from Matt and his cousins telling me they want churros haha.
The next day, Sunday. Before our flight me and Matt visited his best friend Bob at Northwest Snowboards and hungout for a bit before going to Old School Pizzeria for some pizza slices and garlic knots. It was delicious. Probably one of the best pizzerias out there. When we finished our pizza and garlic knots it was off to the air port we go. Before our flight Me, Matt, and his eldest brother Bo hung out in the board room and had free munchies and drinks. Even thought short, the trip to Olympia was great. I had the best time and it was so beautiful there. I can't wait to go back again!

I made a loaf of banana bread today that came out great! It was so yummy. I wont be able to eat a lot of it because I'm going to be visiting Erimm for the weekend, but I'm sure Matt and his friends will eat it all up before i get back home. I would love to share this recipe, but its not mine to share. But i will be sharing other recipes of mine in the future. The loaf of the banana bread looks so huge on our stove, but thats just because we have a super tiny stove haha.

Trauma

So for the past couple nights NBCs been shooting there pilot show called Trauma on our street, here in SF. Our street has been closed down, and the bus stops have been moved. They are filiming a drunk'n car crash. Its pretty funny watching them fake a crash over and over again just to get the right shot. They have lights set up on peoples buildings and fake traffic all around. Im pretty excited to see my apartment building on t.v. haha. Me and matt peeked out our hall window during shooting.

I couldnt get a good photo because the fire escape
was in the way, but you get the picture.

I guess a few weeks ago they closed down highway 280 to
stage a tanker- trailer explosion too. I got this photo
from SF chronicle. I wish i could have seen this.

After me and matt stopped being nosys watching the crowd build
up around our street. We chilled out, ate yum yumm cupy cakes that
i baked, and had some tea. While we watched some Spaced before sleepy time.

Tea and cup cakes.
My Oly mug that i love.
I cant wait to go back to Olympia :)

Once Bitten

I love this movie. Its a super cheesy 80s vampire movie, but its super funny. Once Bitten is basically about a horny high school boy, Mark (Jim Carry) who cant get all the way with his girlfriend. After a night out with the boys Mark ends up meeting the gorgeous Countess(Lauren Hutton). Who's more then willing to give Mark a good time. After there one night stand Mark starts going threw a change and cant get the Countess out of his head or out of his life. This is one of my favorite parts in the movie, the dance off. Everything Lauren Hutton wears is amazing. Shes soo pretty, and Jim Carrey is the best dancer. ha

6 more days!

I'm so excited for my erimmy to come back to me! We have to do some much while shes back because shes only visiting for a short while. I was thinking when she comes to SF we'd go get ramen and crepes in Japan town. The crepes are sooooo good. Me and Matt had went on a trip to Japan town this past week. The weather was so nice out we decided to walk there from downtown. We first went to a restaurant and had some yummy ramen. I was feeling a little sick that day, so it really hit the spot.

For dessert we got crepes! This was matts.
He got bannanas, whipped cream, and chocolate in his.
I cant wait to take erimm to have one of these.
She's going to love it.

ERIMMY! Post belly pictures!
